From the inception of the Firm, the strategy has been to take the time to fully understand the needs of our clients and to meet those needs in the most efficient way possible. We believe in partnerships and long-term relationships, and we invest in client development.

The client portfolio has grown steadily since the Firm’s establishment in 1971 to include 29 of the top 35 Fortune Global 500 banks and 32% of the Fortune Global 500. Pekin & Pekin clients include some of the most prominent companies in the global finance, energy, manufacturing and service sectors, as well as companies operating in niche sectors and emerging industries.

The geographical spread of the client portfolio is global with particular emphasis on Europe, the US and the Middle East reflecting the interest in Turkey as a lead emerging economy.

The Firm also advises international law firms when their clients require Turkish legal assistance and has developed long-standing relationships with the independent firms within the networks Lex Mundi, TerraLex and SEE Legal. 

Global professional associations, particularly in the finance and capital markets, have been clients of the Firm for a considerable time. Associations of note include the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) and the International Capital Market Association (ICMA).
