Date 19 May 2010 Just 14 months after the launch of the Tax practice group, Pekin & Pekin has been named International Tax Review's Turkish Tax Firm of the Year 2010. A coveted award, this is the first time a Turkish law firm has won signalling a change in the market and the quality of legal services on offer. Judges were impressed by the Tax team's dual tax accounting and legal expertise, its groundbreaking work in the tax structuring of novel cross-border financing and the innovative use of the law in tax optimisation strategies.
