Pekin & Pekin contributes annually to the Turkey chapter of the World Bank and IFC's doing business guide. For 2012 the focus is Doing Business in a More Transparent World investigating the ease of conducting business in 183 economies. Regulatory developments were investigated covering the June 2010 to May 2011 period.

For 2012 access to electricity has been included with researchers finding that connections are most efficient in Iceland, Germany, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong SAR, China and Singapore.
