Pekin & Pekin Participates in the IIFM Sukuk Working Group

We are pleased to announce that Pekin & Pekin participated in the International Islamic Financial Market (IIFM) Sukuk Documentation Standardization Working Group.

IIFM is one of the key standard-setting organizations of the Islamic financial services industry and is a non-profit organization established in the Kingdom of Bahrain by 6 founding members namely Central Bank of Bahrain, Islamic Development Bank, Bank Negara Malaysia, Bank Indonesia, Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam and Central Bank of Sudan. IIFM’s core mandate is to develop “Islamic Documentation and Products standards” relating to Islamic capital & money market, trade finance and corporate finance.

As a member of the Working Group, our Firm will review the documentation and provide comments and recommendations.
