Communiqué No. 2006/1 on the Maximum Interest Rates to be imposed on Credit Card Transactions was amended on 9 March 2010 effective as of 1 April 2010.  Accordingly, the monthly maximum contractual and default interest rates for Turkish lira debts from credit cards have been reduced.
