Pursuant to current legislation the sale and purchase of derivative instruments are regulated by Articles 53-57 of the Communiqué (Serial No: V/46). Due to the fact that the transaction value of derivative instruments has risen considerably, the CMB has deemed it necessary to regulate the trade of derivative instruments in a separate communiqué. For this purpose the CMB has prepared a draft communiqué. The current version of the draft includes significant provisions with respect to intermediation prerequisites, risk disclosures, sale and purchase order submissions in electronic environments, intermediation with trades abroad and various other significant aspects in this respect.
