The Communiqué on Principles regarding Sales and the Registration of Shares (Serial I, No: 40) (published in the Official Gazette dated April 3, 2010 and No .27541) has been enacted. This Communiqué repeals Communiqué (Serial I, No: 26) regulating sales and the registration of shares. Among numerous changes introduced by the Communiqué, the annulment of the minimum public offering rates, a former requirement for public offerings, is the most significant incentive for private companies to become public companies.
