A draft communiqué has been announced by the CMB regarding venture capital trusts, which forsees the introduction of new incentives upon enactment. In the current version of the draft, the plan is to increase the maximum rate of investments, which can be made by venture capital trusts, other than venture capital investments. Furthermore, the draft also plans to introduce the opportunity of investing in non-traded shares of public companies, as well as removing the restrictions on investments in public companies.
