The Draft Turkish Commercial Code and the Draft Law on the Implementation of the Turkish Commercial Code are still being discussed in the Grand National Assembly. It is presumed that the new Commercial Code will be a significant step towards harmonising Turkish trade and finance regulations with those of the EU.
