The Draft Turkish Commercial Code and the Draft Law on the Amendments to the Protection of Competition Law are still being discussed in the Grand National Assembly. The enactment of the laws is expected to be a significant step towards harmonising Turkish laws with European legislation. Furthermore, the Draft Bill on Amendments to the Free Trade Zone Law and the Draft Bill on Amendments on Investment and Employment Incentives are also undergoing consideration in the Grand National Assembly. One of the most significant updates within the fourth quarter has been the enactment of the Cheque Law.
