The Draft Turkish Commercial Code and the Draft Law on the Implementation of the Turkish Commercial Code are still being discussed in the Grand National Assembly. The enactment of the said Laws is expected to be a significant step towards harmonising Turkish trade and finance regulations with the EU.

Furthermore, the Amendments to the Regulation Regarding the Implementation of the Law Regarding Work Permits for Foreigners provides new provisions bringing significant amendments to the work permit application system for non-Turkish citizens to speed up the processing of applications.

After long discussions in the Grand National Assembly, the Bill on Amendments in Free Trade Zone Law and the Bill on Amendments in Investments and Employment Incentives have been enacted.
