The Secretariat of Foreign Trade expanded its measures to prevent unfair competition in Turkish exports on 23 May 2010 by the introduction of a new series of communiqués. The measures are the result of an investigation into the questionable presence of the dumping of goods exported from Turkey. The results revealed the insufficiency of present measures to prevent harm to local production due to dumping; therefore, the Secretariat of Foreign Trade has set new figures and additional anti-dumping measures.
