Social security premium rates paid by the employer on behalf of employees and the categorisation of the social security premiums have been amended, effective as of 1 October 2008 (although outside the scope of this Newsletter, we deemed it significant to emphasise it) in accordance with the Social Security Law (Law No. 5510) and as amended time to time. Although the social security premium rates of category have been amended, the total social security premium rate that should be paid by the employer on behalf of the employee has not changed.
