The Turkish Atomic Energy Authority announced the Regulation on Principles for the Safety of Nuclear Fuel Cycle Facilities on 30 July 2010. The Regulation seeks to determine specific security policies to achieve the objectives of nuclear safety in the nuclear fuel cycle facilities.
