The Communiqué on Foreign Assets to which Technical Reserves with respect to Insurance, Reinsurance and Pension Companies may be deposited, issued by the Undersecretariat of the Treasury, was enacted on 21 January 2009. This Communiqué introduces procedures and principles with respect to financial assets, deposits and immovables in foreign countries, along with the custody method for financial foreign assets subject to grading while being traded on foreign exchanges and issued within foreign countries to be set aside as technical reserves.

The published Communiqué on Insurance Arbitration Procedure and Insurance Arbitrators published was enacted on 21 January 2009. Other than existing common arbitrations, this Communiqué introduces high qualification standards for insurance arbitration and sets forth the formation of a qualified insurance arbitrators list, along with the implementation of special provisions in relation to the procedure of insurance arbitration.
