The General Communiqué regarding the Charges Law (Serial No: 60) was enacted on 31 December 2009. Fixed and proportional charges, e.g. title deed and other land registry-related transactions, notary charges etc., have been increased by 10% as of 1 January 2010 (reflecting a surcharge over the annual inflation figure of approximately 7% for 2009).
