The Information Technologies and Communication Authority announced the Regulation regarding Consumer Rights in the Electronic Communications Sector on 28 July 2010, which repeals the previous regulation on this matter. The Regulation includes the rights of consumers who benefit from electronic communication services, liabilities of operators and principles and procedures of subscription agreements signed between operators and consumers. The Regulation also states that the “Safe Use of the Internet” is a consumer right.
